Unreadable menus (Snapdragon x plus computer)

With a new installation on Win11 I encounter unreadable menus (all white on white, even the icons). I tried everything (I think): downgrade from current stable 25.8 to 7.8, delete user profile, appearance settings a whole lot both in Win11 and LO. Nothing worked, except two “tricks”:
1- starting LO in safe mode. Everything worked A-ok, except after leaving safe mode and returning to normal mode (despite deleting user profiles before, restoring factory settings etc etc) all returned immy and without any user interaction to unreadable white-white.
2- downgrading LO to the last stable 7.8 version. All worked fine in terms of readability, I only ran into compatibility issues in terms of document formatting (see computer info below).

The computer in question is a Lenovo Ideapad with Win11home and fitted with a Snapdragon X Plus architecture, installation focuses on latest 25.8 stable.

Any idea on whether I am fighting a bug… or is there a solution?

Solved, see bottom remarks of bugreport:
