I have a document in writer that displays a brown triangle followed by a brown dashed line. I have spent a lot of time in youtube, chatGPT and the writer’s manual trying to figure out how to get rid of it without success. Any help would be appreciated.
These are probably “pointers” to comments. They are not formatting marks per se. Scroll horizontally along the dashed line and you should see the comment.
Comments can be hidden by clicking on the Comments button at right of the horizontal ruler (top of document area). Click again and they’re back.
