Update Lbreoffice on Macbook Air M2

Versions used: MacBook Air M2 (Sonoma 14.2.1), LibreOffice (7.5.5.2/AARCH64.

1. I have been looking for a way of updating LO on my MBA but am getting nowhere. Can anyone give me the steps to follow please?
2. This is in order to fix (hopefully) the fault which has arisen recently: when I click on another document in LO/Windows (top bar), it opens it but when I try to type in it, it jumps to the previous document. I haven’t found a way to fix this so am hoping it will get fixed if I manage to update LO.

A search on MacBook Air M2 previous window takes focus brings up a few non-LibreOffice related issues, possibly even an unpaired bluetooth device needing a restart. I would be inclined to check in Apple forums.
