What happens, wenn you print via a PDF Printer (virtual printer) Does the PDF contain the expected result ? Just to clarify, i am “NOT” speaking about the “export as pdf…” option of LO.
OK printed to file as PDF.opened file in doc viewer, Okular in this case, and pdf docs looks just as it should. Stright print from doc viewer and the gray text does not get printed.
So apologies for wasting your time as appears fault must be within printer drivers/subsytem.
