Updated LibreCalc to 25.8.2.2; Conditional Formats Broken

I had a spreadsheet with conditional formats on individual columns. When I open the .xlsx file with the latest version of Calc some of the formats are collapsed down to one range:

AR:AR,AS:AS,AT:AT,AU:AU,AV:AV,AW:AW,AX:AX,E:E,S:S,T:T,U:U,V:V,I:I,M:M,K:K,O:O,AJ:AJ,Q:Q,AC:AC

Please upload this file (or a fragment of it) so that we can see this problem.

  • setup your CF in Libreoffice-Calc
  • DONT save|export to …xlsx

done!

As I know, conditional format in Calc doesn’t support only column/row ranges, an explicit range is needed.

If you try to enter an A:A range it is converted to A1:A1048576

They are accepted in formulas

Thanks!
What’s the problem?
Here’s the file opened in Excel:
2025-11-01 160619

Here’s the file opened in Calc:

It was originally three separate ranges:

Related to, but not identical with, tdf#164844. Both are fallouts from the fix to tdf#95295.

A sample with separate ranges (created using Excel):

So I should file a bug report then?

Yes.
