Trying to update Libreoffice to 7.5.1.
Download file but when I double click on it to install, The message comes up “This installation package could not be opened. Contact the vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package”
Checked windows Installer is running. All ok
Can install other programs OK but not Libreoffice.
Any ideas?

Rebooted pc
Still not opening file and installing.
Tried everything but no good.
finally got 7.4.6 via the Microsoft store, which is the latest version on there. Paid small fee which goes to Libreoffice anyway with automatic updates and no hassle.
What kind of Windows do you have?
Where did you download LibreOffice from?
What is the file extension of the installation file?

Check that the download is correct.
- Go to the download page and click the info link and get the Checksums
- In your download folder right-click the LibreOffice installation file and select Show more options > CRC SHA > SHA-256 and check that it matches the the Checksum for the version you downloaded. If it doesn’t then download again.
If you use a third party anti-virus then check that your anti-virus is not blocking the installation.
