I attempted to upgrade to Win 4.1.5 (from 4.1.4.2) but, on trying to run LibreOffice_4.1.5_Win_x86.msi, I get the error message:
(X) This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package [OK].
Please advise. I am using MS Surface Pro 2 512GB (Win 8.1 Pro 64bit).

I assume you want to upgrade to LibO 4.1.5 for W8.1Pro 64bit.
I don’t know where you downloaded your LIbO version 4.1.5 but I recommend to download from http://www.libreoffice.org/ and click the big Download button on the right side.
Thanks ROSt52. I was using http://www.libreoffice.org/ but using Google Chrome download - I think it terminated before completion (without error). Downloading with DAP gave a file which installed correctly.
