I have LO 5.0.4.2 installed under Mint 17 on a PC. I have been notified that an upgrade is available. Is it possible to upgrade without losing any customization in Writer?
It should work as is. You can back up the folder before upgrading, but I’m not sure where LO5 stores everything, although it’s pretty easily checked:
ls ~/.*L*O*5*
cp -Rv OLD 'NEW.backup 2016-03-18'
where OLD and NEW are the same folder gotten from ls.
