When trying to upload a file for an answer:
I reduced the file size by deleting part of the file content. There was no problem with a 606 kB file size. Don’t tested with other sizes.
So, what is the limit? Thanks.

The limit is 4MiB on both Discourse (images have further restrictions, namely max 40 megapixels) and the HTTPd, but the latter doesn’t appear to be honored. Need to investigate; in the meantime the limit is 1MiB (the HTTPd default).
