Moving the cursor causes crash in one administrator account, but not in an alternate administrator account. Clicking on “column” in toolbar also causes crash. Files fail to recover.
One a difference is the different user profile in different accounts. Hence I’d suggest to start LibreOffice in Safe Mode (Help → Restart in Safe Mode´) and check whether the problem is gone. If it is gone, reset the user profile.
Thank you. I have restarted in “safe” mode, and also erased and reinstalled LO, and also reinstalled latest Mac OS. Other quirks: LO “forgets” settings like centering text in cells, and some numeric formula outputs go to “###” just by clicking on them. I have to erase and reenter formula, often more than once, to get back to starting point. It’s especially bad with %.
### just means the column is too narrow to display the result, widen the column.
