I want to insert a number range variable with numbering by chapter in Arabic numerals. The problem is, the numbering of my chapter is in Roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, …). For example, in chapter II, can I insert a number range variable in this format: (2.1) instead of (II.1)?
Look under Format | Bullets and Numbering and use the Numbering Type to select your preferred format.
