using Find (text search): how turn off autocomplete text?

when using ctrl F to search my document for a text string, Writer will auto-complete the word based on previous searches. How can i turn this off?

Eg if i have searched my doc for “libreoffice”, and i now want to search my doc for just “libre”, I type: ctrl+f “libre” then Enter, and it searches for “libreoffice”. This is obviously highly error-prone when one is working quickly!

I don’t think this is possible (someone who knows better may correct me). I’d encourage you to submit a bug (or “enhancement”) at http://bugs.documentfoundation.org/.
