using libreoffice calc as database for P-Touch Editor

P-Touch Editor does not get all the text from Calc as a database. It gets cut off. In the Calc cell all text is there, when i connect ptouch, its not all there.

How do you connect your editor to Calc?
I can google the word ptouch and come to a label printer, but this is not explaining, what you (or that software) did/tried.
.
Do you use copy/paste, export a csv, can ptouch read .odt?
Have you checked, if you can type more into ptouch? Maybe there are size-limits). Where is the cut-off? (Size-limit, special characters or locations or even “data is there but not shown”…)

XLSX file. its p-touch editor, a Brother software for their label printers. I use a QL-1060N. It used to work fine until my pc crashed. reloaded everything but this the only thing im stuck on.

Yes I guessed so.
So your Brother-software fails to read an xlsx-file?
I don’t see anything related to LibreOffice…

I guess maybe? But I don’t know how to fix it. Been trying different things for a few hrs combined…ugh

As the brother P-Touch Editor in Legal disclaimer said:

1- Database: Supported database formats include Windows® xis, mdb, csv, and txt. Macintosh® csv and bet, and MacOS® X Address Book.

May be if you export the xlsx to csv you can conect with it,

However, it is normal to consult with Brother, not with another program that has nothing to do with

It connects, just not the entire text from the Libre cell. Im curious if I have a wrong setting within Libre. I have contacted Brother with no answer at this time.
