The elements window has been vanished in LibreOffice impress when i was typing formula. I just tried to dock it to the left side but it vanished suddenly. It is active from view bottom but i cannot find it.
I guess you inserted a formula using the Math application. When the formula object loses focus, the context also changes from Math back to Impress, and all the Math-specific tools will vanish from view.
If you have the formula “open” and still don’t see the Elements tool, look for a small dark section in the middle of the window’s left or right border. That dark section is a handle you can use to show or hide docked tools. Click it. If simple click doesn’t work, try to drag it.
