I just installed latest version 4.3.5 something on a 64 bit windows system. Beginning in the prior version the version number does not update in the registry even though installation is completed. I can manually go in and change it, but how come this has just begun to occur in the last two versions? Prior to this it updated the version fine. Since I get automatic notifications of available updates it is annoying to get a message saying a new version is available when that is the version I have installed.
Which OS are you using?
If you want to leave away such messages, you can go to LibreOffice → Tools → Preferences, where you go to the “Updates” Page and turn off the check-box “Check the updates automatically”. If you know which version you have installed then you can do such trick and stay working under LibreOffice.
