Good morning everyone! I would like to know if it is possible to view Recent Documents directly at the bottom of the File menu (and not in a submenu, as by default), as in the attached image, relating to another similar program. Thank you in advance…
I cannot see how to not have it in a sub-list, although adding 25 entries would extend the File menu too much I think.
If you are on Windows, then right-clicking on the Calc icon on the Windows Taskbar will give you a list of recent Calc documents.
Although you extensively can customize the menus in LibreOffice, including the document list directly into the file menu will not be possible. The list of recent files is displayed by the command “Recent Documents” in Tools - Customize - Menus, so you could move the menu entry to any different menu or to a submenu, but you cannot have the list appear directly under an existing main menu, nor a new one you could create. Unfortunately, although you can configure it in Tools -Customize, other approaches for quick access, such as binding it to a shortcut key or to a button, also do not work.
