Vlookup with two columns that filters the second documents data with only true returns

Hello,

I have one document exported from software A (.xls) and a second more complicated/thorough document exported from software B (.xlsx).

I am trying to return Name Columns X & Y in software A calc sheet with Name Columns X & Y in software B calc sheet.

I am trying to return a filtered list of software B calc sheet results based on finding the same Name Column X & Y found in software A calc sheet.

Basically I want to find the rows from software A calc sheet in the much larger software B calc sheet and filter software B’s calc sheet to only show the rows found in software A calc sheet - based on name columns X & Y.

Any help on accomplishing this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

If I understood the problem, in a third file in spreadsheet1 I would copy the xls data and in spreadsheet2 the xlsm data.
In a third spreadsheet with column A from spreadsheet1 copied, I would do Vloukup on spreadsheet2.

It is easier to work in a single file.
