This is the (error) warning, but I’ve never used a spreadsheet before so don’t know how to fix it.
If I click OK the spreadsheet loads and works correctly.
I think I’ve uploaded the file here if anyone wants to have a look.
Any help would be appreciated.
Excel currently supports 16384 columns while Calc can only handle 1024 columns. However, there does not seem to be any content present outside of the first screenful or so.
It looks like your file has been “touched” in column 16141. Possibly some formatting applied to the range. If you save a copy from Calc, the error message should disappear. Make sure to keep the original intact, just in case…
Hello,
LibreOffice calc supports 1024 (2^10) columns only, while MS Excel supports 16384 (2^14) columns. Therefore you get that error.

It is’nt an error! It’s a Warning!
Excel and Calc have different numbers of columns.
Normally it should still work if the data in the sheet does not exceed it.
Try it!
Thanks very much for the replies. As sugessted, saving a copy from within Calc has stopped it happening.
Appreciate the help.
