What does “Open CLL” mean? How does it differ from “Open GLL”? How does each affect the setup and function of Libre Office?
There’s no “Open GLL” or “Open CLL”.
OpenGL is an API for drawing on screen that allows to draw more efficiently if hardware and software (graphic drivers) support that mode. With some combinations of drivers/videocards, it may give glitches in rendering.
OpenCL is doing some computations using not CPU, but graphic card processor. In LibreOffice, it only may be used by Calc for some formulas, to offload CPU and increase speed of calculations.
Thank you, Mr. Kaganski. I was mistaken typing “CLL” and “GLL” but don’t know how to edit. Your answer is helpful.
