I was using LibreOffice 4.4.3.2 with Arabic fonts. In particular, B-Arabic had a good resemblance to Ruq’ah handwriting. When I updated to version 4.4.5 all my B-Arabic scripts had changed into a very ugly font that didn’t resemble Ruq’ah at all. I restored my computer to the earlier LO version, but I still have this ugly font. What font can I use that looks like normal Arabic handwriting?
LO picks up the fonts that are installed together with your OS. Those fonts are used because they are within the Style templates that you choose.
LO does NOT (to the best of my knowledge) remove fonts on uninstall.
