What is Auto Correct's definition of a sentence?

I am vexed by auto correct (AC) when entering text into Calc cells. If I use the Ctrl+Enter to insert a line break into a cell’s text the AC function sees the new line as a new sentence and forces capitalization. I have disabled that AC function to get around this. However IMHO when determining where a sentence ends a line break is not the same as ending text with a period.

I could not discover in the Help what AC uses as the definition of a sentence. If someone can enlighten me I would be grateful. If not perhaps the Help could be improved.

I tried to figure out how to create an exception for this situation but failed. Advice for this would be helpful.

That is probably this bug here:

Cannot start word after line break with small letter

That’s it.
It’s been a year and kind of a trivial issue so I expect not a high priority to fix.
