What’s the keyboard shortcut to switch through the tabs of a spreadsheet on the Mac?
On a Mac laptop (or any Apple keyboard without PgUp/PgDn keys), you switch between sheets in Calc with:
Fn + Command + up arrow / down arrow
since Fn + up/down arrow correspond to PgUp and PgDn on Mac laptop keyboards.
The 100-something key “Apple Keyboard with Numeric Keypad” keyboards have dedicated “page up”/“page down” keys, so no need for such finger calisthenics if you have one of those.
On the older models (my 2005 PowerBook, for sure) this was explicitly silkscreened on the keys. Nowadays it’s just tribal knowledge. So you would never guess this without someone telling you.
You can customize your short cut on Calc, may be you can find what you are searching
Open a Calc SpreadSheet > Tools > Customize > and Select the Tab “Keyboard”
You have 2 check button “LibreOffice” and “Calc” , “Calc” should be selected in upper right corner, if not the change will affect all LibreOffice !!
Be very careful if you change a shortcut key, it can affect another shortcut key
Next select the required function from the Category and Function lists.
Now select the desired shortcut keys in the Shortcut keys list and click the “Modify” button at the upper right.
Finally Click “OK” to accept the change
C-PgUp and C-PgDn also work on debian
