I’m using a fresh install of Fedora 24, and a fresh install of LibreOffice 5. Here’s the stuff from the ‘about’ section:
Version: 22.214.171.124 Build ID: 126.96.36.199-8.fc24 CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.7; UI Render: default; Locale: en-US (en_US.UTF-8); Calc: group
Whenever I’m using a doc that was saved as .xls and I try to change the font, Calc freezes up. Specifically the soffice.bin process ramps up to 100% on the CPU and never drops. Fortunately having multiple cores keeps the rest of my machine running and I can kill that process. Does anyone else notice that? I think it’s a bug, but figured I’d ask if anyone else sees the problem to make sure it’s reproducible first.
