Hello,
Unfortunately, something within the .odb (actually a zipped folder with a number of files) has gotten corrupted. There are too many ways this can happen as to give you a specific answer on how or what. With some effort, it may be possible to salvage some of it by extracting pieces. Tedious process. Hopefully you have a backup copy.
I have a back up, unfortunately it wasn’t completely current. But most is better than none. Is there a direction you can point me in so that this doesn’t happen again?
Good for you - you’re correct most better than none! No way to say or do anything so it doesn’t happen again - don’t know what caused this specific case. The two thing to help, Backups (as you have) and don’t use the default embedded DB but rather a split. If you don’t have a split DB yet, see my answer on this post for some guidance.

The corruption may be caused by shutting down the computer with the power switch instead of the standard shut down procedure . In that case, Libre and Windows may not have time enough to write cashed content to the hard drive, resulting in data loss or file corruption.
