When I import CSV from ClipBoard, data of FirstSheet is different from OtherSheet

Hi,I use Libre Calc 7.2.6.2.

When I import CSV from ClipBoard, data of FirstSheet is different from OtherSheet.

CSV like this(first row is title)

No,name,memberid,Address
1,nobuo,167748,japan
2,nobuo2,167748,japan

This figure shows first Sheet and second sheet.
At first I imported csv on first sheet,
after I added new sheet ,then I import CSV on the second Sheet.

The difference is Column C.
Column C is memberid ,that is integer.

But on First Sheet Column C is displayed as “Date”,
on second sheet Column C is displayed as integer
(and on third sheet, forth sheet ・・・ displayed as integer)

Is there any setting for first sheet?
Or?

Any advice will be appreciated.
Sincerely

I’ve never seen an option for “first sheet”. So the culprit should be at another place.

At first: When Calc recognizes a date, it is converted to an integer - the count of days since the beginning of the 20. century. So you can usually just change the formatting of your column and everything should be correct.

The place to set the date of the imported csv-columns is usualy the dialog you get, when importing. Select the column head and choose the appropiate Format. Really important for dates, as this is locale dependend: My syster would read 10-11-12 as October, 11, while I read November 10 as we live in differen countries, so for 2012-11-10 is the recomended ISO-formatting for November 10 in 2012.

Check if the Colums in your spreadsheet already contain a formatting. Maybe remove this by resetting to “standard” or the same setting you have on the first table.

Thank you @Wanderer !

I found the culprit!

Culprit is Template.
The Column C of My Template is formated For date.
I clear the template,then
I could get correct datas.

Thank you !!!

When you don’t have Detect special numbers enabled, the cells with numbers will use the pre-existing formatting - i.e., if your column C was pre-formatted as date, the numbers from the clipboard arriving to column C will be formatted as dates.

And it is obvious that your first sheet was already pre-formatted in some way - see how the column widths are customized, compared to the default column widths (on your second screenshot) after you just created a new sheet and pasted.

So either clear formatting on your first sheet, or use Detect special numbers to force recognized numeric format on import.

Thank you @mikekaganski !

My template had pre-existing formatting ,as you wrote.
I cleared my templates, then I could get correct datas.
