Regarding the renaming of style: what you describe is what I have tried but the name of the style is greyed out and can not be changed in the Organizer tab … screenshot attached.
Built-in style names can’t be changed because:
a) they serve as “normative reference” for intended use
b) they are translated into your local language (so, in order not to mess up everything, the original name must not be modified in any way because it is an access key into the translation directory and the displayed name comes from the translation dictionary and is probably not stored in the document so that all the magic is not disrupted)
