How, do you think, could I be helpful with such a question? I don’t need plenty of options but the appropriate ones. I didn’t find MS Office “very easy” but simply disliked it and I am glad to no longer being forced to use it. It’s another thing that software from other sources has alo its shortcomings. But that’s mainly a question of reliability, not of features or pretending to “know” the user’s intentions.
Please feel free to prefer MS software. It’s your turn.
It’s not just that you can prefer. It’s comparable to preferring Nazis over something else.
If you consider LibO as free of charge copy of Microsoft Office you will not be happy. LibO looks and feels a bit like to MSO versions up to about version 2003. However recent development directions of MSO and LibO differ a bit.
Since a few years screens get wider compared to the height,
MSO developed the ribbons which reduce the height of screen even more and leaves unused/unusable space in the width of a screen.
LibO developed the sidebar, which leaves more height of the screen for viewing your document and utilizes the width of modern screens to place the sidebar there.
You also might find features in MSO which you don’t in LibO but you also might find features in LibO which MSO does not offer. You find a comparison on features and supported file formats here:

Libreoffice has most, if not all, of the features available in microsoft office, but unfortunately many of them are only accessible by digging through the menu bar, which means that its not very easy to access frequently used features, unless you customize your toolbar.
Microsoft office had this same problem until it released Office 2007, wherein they came up with their new ribbon UI to bring all the menu bar and toolbar features into a single tab-based toolbar.
Libreoffice has recently been working on improving the easy accessibility of frequently used features by adding these buttons into the default toolbars, which will be available in its upcoming 4.4 release in January/February 2015.
