When will you fix libreoffice impress remote?

There are only blank slides on Android device. It can be navigate left/right, even notes are visible, but the slides are blank!
It is from very beginning of 2.3.0 version, so 1.5 year bug!
Tested on several smartphones and several Android versions, from 6 to 9.

Who is “you”?

Developers, of course. Each application has developers.

but why do you ask it here, where users answer questions of users regarding how to use?

It is libreoffice.org isn’t it? So the official web. Developers do not respond to their mail info@documentfoundation.org. The developer is The Document Foundation, using LibreOffice name. So what makes you think this is not the right place? Then what is the right place?

As described in this site’s use rules, bugs are offtopic here, and should go to the bug tracker.

And TDF is not “the developer”. Developers are independent volunteers and employees of companies; TDF only creates infrastructure for that.

  1. On https://ask.libreoffice.org there are not any info or link about that wiki rules. So, I didn’t read them.
  2. I quote the wiki mentioned: “What is the purpose of the site?
The site serves as a collaborative platform on which LibreOffice users, volunteers, developers, and other community members can come together to ask and answer questions about LibreOffice, TDF, and related matters.”

So, where did I go wrong asking developers?

“And TDF is not “the developer”. Developers are independent volunteers and employees of companies; TDF only creates infrastructure for that.”
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.libreoffice.impressremote => developer is TDF.

sigh.

  1. On the exact that page you mentioned, there is the link named “How to use the Ask site”. Of course, reading “how to use this site” to avoid mistakes is not something worth own time.
  2. Reading a little further down to the “Is My Question Appropriate For The Ask Site?” could help.
  1. Where? I still can’t find it.
  2. That is on wiki site.

Anyway, I filled the bug on Bugzilla https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=127990
