Yesterday all my documents suddenly stopped displaying the page number I’m on–the [page you’re on]/[total pages of document] thing. I want it back. How can I get it to resurface? I’ve tried everything I could find at the top of the page, but none of them seem to provide it.
Have you lost the whole status bar - that shows page x of y, number of words and characters, page style etc. ? if so pick the view menu and tick status bar
