where do I find "package libreoffice-java-common"

I have loaded Libre Office 6.4.2 and when I tried to use Mailing it said I needed Java. So I loaded Java (direct fromJava) but it is not recognized by the Mailing wizard. Help please

What is your operating system?

Please check [Java FAQ 1](https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Faq/General/InstallJava) and [Java FAQ 2](https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/DE/Das_richtige_JRE_installieren#Foreword). If your JRE from java.com is not recognized, you either use the wrong version (32-bit on 64-bit LibreOffice Installation or vice versa) or you are on macOS, which requires **JDK** instead of JRE (Get **JDK** [here](https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/javase-downloads.html))

where do I find “package libreoffice-java-common”

Neither native (downloads from libreoffice.org) TDF .deb packages nor .rpm packages contain a package called libreoffice-java-common (may be your system, which presumable is a Linux distribution, uses that name; but again: this information is not given). If you are on
Ubuntu:
sudo apt search libreoffice-java-common* (search)
sudo apt install libreoffice-java-common (install)
