Where is Draw's fullscreen mode?

I just tried using the keyboard shortcut for fullscreen (which works in Writer and Calc) while editing a Draw drawing, and discovered that it doesn’t do anything. I checked the View menu, and there isn’t any “full screen” entry anywhere.

What shortcut do I need to press in order to make the LO Draw window fullscreen? Does it even have this feature, and if not, why not?

I think the answer is unfortunately that you can’t, but I can’t provide an answer to the ‘why not’ part. LibreOffice Help mentions full-screen shortcuts for Calc and Writer, but not for Draw. See http://help.libreoffice.org/Common/Full_Screen

This question has also been asked on libreofficeforum more than six months ago and still hasn’t received an answer: http://en.libreofficeforum.org/node/1900

I have been frustrated by this as well, and have filed it as a feature request: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=51566

Really sorry for the late response, @rudivs. You mentioned that the prior question about this same thing hadn’t received an answer, and I’d rather not try to break that record.

Anyway, thanks for the honest answer (with sources!); let’s just hope a developer gets as frustrated as both of us.

Still missing in 4.4.0.3… Would love to see this implemented also…

Still missing in 5.0.3.2… I guess the devs just aren’t interested in working on something the users obviously want, and should really be included to begin with.

Fullscreen view is kind of a standard function included in pretty much every draw/paint program except this one. Only solution I’ve found is to export to another format and open in another program, which really isn’t a solution so much as a hacky workaround.

This is one of those things that makes you wonder if they are deliberately trying to make a bad product. Full screen is such a basic option that every single program has it, except Draw. Extremely frustrating.

Seconding this in comments as, for some reason, new users can’t upvote.
