This occurs when using two step verification on Google. If you are using, set so code is sent via text as the second step. THIS is the 6-digit code which is required to be entered. Have tested with LO v6.0.2.1. It is my understanding that some early 5.x versions did not accept this second step.
sorry this is NOT working… disabled/reenabled 2FA, entered many codes and still nothing…Strange, but on MSO above works like a charm
Have tested multiple times without a problem using Linux Mint 18.3. Not certain what you meant by entered many codes.
This will also work without a 6-digit code if 2FA is disabled. Won’t even ask for code. See my answer on this post → Unable to connect to Google Drive, LO 5.3, UBUNTU 16.04
I have 2 google account,
account1 has 2FA,
account2 not.
when login account1 to libre → get asked for 6digit → input → failed (3 times)
log in account2 → still got asked for 6 digit →
