Setting up new pc, runs Linux Mint Mate 20.3. Old pc, Mate 19.2, runs LO 7.2.5.2-2 and supports editing pdf format including filling out pdf forms and pasting signatures in the Draw app. Need same function in new machine- which versions of LO support this feature?
You don’t “fill-in” PDF forms with LO (Draw). Draw converts the PDF file into a collection of graphic shapes you can then modify. After that, you export the modified graphical job to PDF. IMHO, this is not the best thing to do because you can severely damage the form.
Instead, use a PDF viewer to fill in forms. Under Mate desktop, I think atril or evince should do.
