Why am I am getting the Filter Selection when trying to open a LO document

I click on a LO document and I get a small screen named “Filter Selection” and it does not allow me to open my document/
I am using LO version 7.0
Why don’t I get the regular open document screen?

Which operating system do you use?

Possibly reasons:

• The document is damaged.
• The type of the document is unknown for that LO version.
• There is a bug in the Fresh version of the LO. Note: Always use the Still versions for the daily works.
• The installed LO version is damaged.

… of which type and maybe extension not matching to real content?
