In fact most of the Alt+ menu combinations do not work in v5.3.1.2 (x64).
What do you expect, they should do? What is your operating system?
I expect them to work like they always did in OOo calc. Windows 10 x64. Also I am now running LibO Version: 5.3.2.2 (x64). Alt + “any letter” does not work on either of two laptops.
Shortcut keys are always linked to a character in the corresponding menu item, which is then underlined. So, Alt+S activates the Sheet menu item, and Alt+A should activate a menu item with an underlined ‘A’ in it, but there’s no such item. In Tools - Customize you can find that Alt + a letter isn’t linked to any command except switching to Unicode.
