Why can't I print out (on paper) huge text (Font size 300+)

Hi all

I use Libreoffice writer and calc a lot. Whilst moving house I want to number up my boxes with a piece of paper with a huge number on. So, I go in Writer, open a new document, type down my number (for example simply a number 2). I then highlight that number 2 and change the font size to 500 or
600. Indeed, the screen shows that I have successfully increased the font size

. However, when I press print, indeed I get a printed piece of paper from my printer but the number (or whatever I have typed) comes out VERY small on the paper. Certainly not filling the page like I intended.

Check if Pages per sheet is 1 (nor 2 like the navy field in my screenshot)

Otherwise, can you share a screenshot of your print dialog?

Please paste here the information on Menu/Help/About LibreOffice (There is an icon to copy)

So, I checked the pages per sheet and it is 1. So, I had another go this morning and choose the default font that appears on my writer…That font is Liberation Serif. I set the size to 800 Pts and strangely this has printed out very large. So, I go back and change Liberation Serif to Arial and my number 2 simply disappears. Could this be anything to do with the font selected?

Testing exporting to pdf ‘Arial’ works for me with 800 and in the print box.
