why do I get the error message "Requested Operation Requires Elevation" when I try to open a document created in an earlier version of Libre Office?

I’ve used Libre Office for a long time and have created many documents over the years. I’ve never encounted problems
before. I just recently installed version 4.4 and now when I try to open any of these documents listed in " Documents",
I get an error message"Requested Operation Requires Elevation. What do I need to do?

Is this a file-permissions issue? Are you attempting to open a file that your current user does not have the permission to open read-write?
