Why does enabling split window disable freeze rows and columns and visversa?

While using the LibreOffice Calc program, I used freeze rows/Columns to freeze row 1, my titles row, then later enabled split window. While positioning the split windows, I noticed that the row 1 was no longer frozen. I refroze row 1 and the horizontal split window disappeared and the vertical split stayed on screen until I attempted to move it then it disappeared. The Freeze Row/Column function and the split frame function appear to be mutually exclusive.

Freeze Rows and Columns and Split Window differ in that in this last option all the rows above and all the columns to the left of the limit will be scrollable.

You can choose menu Window - New Window, place both windows side by side, and set in each window different freeze or split positions.

Tested with LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 (x86); OS: Windows 6.1.
