One of my laptops has a copy of LibreOffice 7.3 and when I checked for updates today, it said the current version is 24.8.x. (I’m not sure why the version number jumped so dramatically but assumed there was a good reason.) I downloaded the msi for 64-bit Windows and started the install. It took a VERY long time for the space calculation to complete - I’d guesstimate 15 minutes - but it finally came back. I clicked the Next button to do the standard install and after half an hour, the progress bar still hadn’t moved and finally I got a message: “Installer is no longer responding”. I clicked the Retry button and after another very long time where the progress bar never budged, I got the same message.
What’s the deal here? How do I get my install to complete?
I’m running on Windows 10 (22H2).
