Why does LibreOffice Calc define new custom cell styles as hidden?

If I format a cell manually in LibreOffice Calc 4.1.2.3 and then use the use the “New Style from Selection” option to create a new style from that cell, Calc lists the new style category as “Hidden”. If I then right click on the new style and change the Category to “Custom” under the “Organizer” tab of the style editor the option to modify the style is lost. The next time you right click on that style the only options are “New” and “Delete”. Is this intended and if so why or is it a bug?

Hi Bryan seems a bug showing the Category in the style it really has the Custom Category, if you select in the bottom box what category of styles to show, it is showed when you select Custom Styles. So I think better let it as generated.

Please can you report a bug about it.
