Why I am unable to copy my excel worksheet to another book without changing the format even while using 'move or copy'option

I used to copy my excel work sheet and paste it either in the same work book or to a new book using move or copy option. The formats and formulae will not change while pasting like this. Now, I find that I am not able to retain my formatting page layout while doing so. I tried using the option of copying the uppermost left cell and pasting too. Please help.

Are you asking about copying from Excel to LibreOffice Calc? Something else?
