Why is impress java uno setting of native table's properties so slow in linux

Setting of XTable cell properties in Linux is very slow using java uno. Using LO version 4.3.5. Works fine on windows. It’s only evident when setting cell properties like font, fill etc. Tested on a very small table with 10 rows and 3 columns.
