Why is "Print range empty"

In Calc, I have a file with two sheets.

When I select sheet 1 and then select File > Print Preview everything is OK.
But, when I select sheet 2 and then select File > Print Preview I get “Print range is empty”.

When I select Print. sheet 1 shows a preview of all 4 pages but sheet 2 displays a blank A4 page with the page number greyed out.

• Go to Sheet2
• Format -> Print Ranges -> Edit...

and you may see:

which means that there is an empty print range.

Strictly speaking: This is not an answer to “Why?”, because nobody can tell what you (or some other editor) performed in the past.
