I’m trying to apply Footnote style. It doesn’t show up in the Styles menu, however I can apply it via the ‘All Styles’ sideboard, which has far more styles on offer than the main Styles menu. What’s the principle? I’d like my Footnote style on the main menu, OTOH there’s all that other stuff that’s not their either so …

Maybe this is a non issue. Going to ‘Applied Styles’ on the sideboard, ‘Footnote’ is right there, and easy to apply, so I’m happy. Still I’d like to understand the principle.
The Set paragraph style box in the toolbar comes populated with 10 paragraph styles. As paragraph styles are used in the document, they can appear in the Set paragraph style box for that document.
