Window Focus Issues

I’m having great difficulty with LibreOffice (LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 Version ID : 350m1(Build:2) under Ubuntu 12.04.

Firstly, the window itself does not appear in the list of open windows when I use ALT TAB. If there are other windows in front of the LibreOffice one, I have to reduce them all, in order to see it.

If I make the mistake of reducing the LibreOffice one, it is impossible to access it via the launcher, and I have to go to the command line and kill the application, before relunching it and ‘recovering’ the file I was working on.

Don’t know about other Linux distributions, but on Ubuntu, you can bring the window back to front by issuing the following command: wmctrl -a LibreOffice

If you’re still having trouble with window focus, and if installing the latest release doesn’t seem to fix this problem, please file a bug and provide a list of steps that can reproduce your problem. The QA team will be happy to help you track down this issue!
