Window title bar colour

I recently upgraded to LibreOffice 25.2, installed via Flatpak on Ubuntu 25.04 running the default Gnome desktop. I’ve tried to recreate a dark theme to match my system colours, but the window title bar is white, which contrasts sharply with all the other windows on my system. Here’s a screenshot of a LibreOffice window next to a Firefox window: Screenshot-From-2025-05-16-10-07-58 hosted at ImgBB — ImgBB

Does anyone know how to change this?

In Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Appearance did you try setting Appearance to System? Or Dark?
In Screenshot below, I set Dark and I also set icon theme to Sifr in Tools > Options > LibreOffice > View

Thanks for the response. I have Appearance set to “Dark” and the icon theme set to “Automatic (Sifr (dark))).” However, changing the Appearance to “System” and the icon theme to “Sifr” produces the same result.

Try installing one of the LibreOffice themes, e.g. Lime Theme then set it to System or Dark.

Maybe this question will help, https://askubuntu.com/questions/1464937/inconsistent-dark-theme-for-gtk-apps-on-23-04

Thanks again for your help. Changing the theme did indeed alter the title bar colour, but none of them were dark. I was able to fix the issue by uninstalling the FlatPak and installing LibreOffice via the Ubuntu PPA.

Perhaps this will help. I chose System in Options>Appearance which for me is Dark, but which left some Toolbar icons barely visible. The solution I found was/is that of using the Icon Theme “Colibre (SVG + Dark)” which is under View in Tools>Options.

Thank God for aesthetics.
