I have a Gigabyte Aero 14 with Win 10 and a GeForce GTX1060, just purchased. LO installed fine but would only run in safe mode (otherwise just white screens with no text). Started in safe mode, under configure, disabled all hardware rendering (OpenGL and OpenCL). Now it works fine (a little fuzzy, but usable). Seems to me that the rendering bug has not been resolved in this new release?

Please test 5.4.3 (pre-release), which had some fix in this area. At least, it would give you an idea if this is resolved.
Btw: “crash” isn’t a proper term for “runs, but shows bad UI”
