I created a “DB” to track payments I make on a regular basis, using LO in Win10.
I now want to dump Win10 and use Linux.
My problem is that when I open the .odt file, the layout is there and correct, but there is no data in either the main form or the sub-form.
The main form holds the recipient data and the sub-form holds the payments made.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

Install libreoffice-base and libreoffice-report-builder.
.odt is a Writer-File, so it can be a form connected to a .odb file.
Do you also have the .odb? I use “registered” Datasources, so migrating to another computer requires to define the datasources again.
If a filename is referenced you will need to change it. (Entry to “exchange database” in the menu.)
PS: please be specific on your Linux-distribution, versions of distro and LibreOffice and don’t forget the type of your database (HSQLDB, Firebird, dBase, Spreadsheet, csv, MariaDB etc)
