Won't Print Envelope Return Address in Writer

This is maddening. I used to be able to print a return address, but now I can’t. There is an address in the “return” box, and it shows up on print preview. But when I print an envelope there is no return address. Any suggestions? It shouldn’t be this hard. Thanks.
