Words disappearing in table cells in Writer

I have the latest version installed, but sometimes the words in Table Cells disappear. They’re still there; they just don’t look like they are, making it difficult to edit. When I copy and paste the cell’s contents into another Writer document, they are there. Closing and coming back in did not fix it. Making new cells does, just copying and pasting into the new cells, but then when editing other cells, another row of text content disappears. It’s also not a matter of the text color. I tried highlighting and choose black, and nothing. Anyone else having this issue or have a fix for it?

Yep, but which one? Since you didn’t mention your OS, we can’t even try a guess. Remember that update pace is different between platforms, so “latest” under one OS (or even distributions under same OSes) is frequently not the same “latest” under another OS, not speaking of the “early adopters” versions.

Reopen your question: click on … under it, then on the “pencil” icon to enter edit mode. Mention OS name, LO version and save format.

Your description contains no useful technical information to hint at the issue. So, attach a reduced (5 pages max) version of your document but make sure the problem is still there.

Are you familiar with styles or do you format everything manually?
